Thank you for your interest in the Croucher Summer Course "Vaccinology for Public Health and Clinical Practice in the 21st century". The course will be held during 18-22 July, 2016 at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong.

This course is designed to provide graduate students and postdoctoral-level scientists an overview of the basic concepts in vaccinology. Participants will learn about the immunological and epidemiological mechanisms of vaccination, the process of developing vaccines, how to measure the efficacy or effectiveness of vaccines, how vaccines influence disease transmission and herd immunity. We will also discuss basic health economic evaluation of vaccines and risk communication on vaccine acceptability.

Application is open until 30 April 2016. All applicants are required to use this portal for submitting their applications and supporting documents. Application results will be announced by 7 May 2016.
